About

KatherineWillcocksKatherine has been dabbling in the art of the written word since childhood, dipping her toes in the world of photography every now and then. Currently, she writes for the VCSA Insider, Vanier College’s student-run newspaper. Some of her articles will be featured in this blog as well as other, non-published journalism and creative writing pieces.

Katherine collaborates on projects with her identical twin, Susan, an accomplished artist in her own right — both featured in the winter 2010 edition of What If?, Canada’s creative teen magazine. In 2011, they made their first television appearance on the CTS program “Always Good News”, detailing com-munity endeavors they initiated.

At the age of twelve, the twins illustrated a bilingual healthcare lexicon, designed for TESL, Petit lexique de la santé et des services sociaux, français – anglais (with English – French quick reference). Katherine later joined the book’s editing team, as she is fluently bilingual. Since 2014, the book has been available in an e-book format.

Katherine intends to continue producing stories, and to study literature and writing.  She enjoys soccer, music, swimming, teaching, juggling, sustainable endeavors, and improvisational theatre.
